What does PAHC stand for?
PAHC is the shortened version of The PA Hire Company. Our registered company name is PAHC LTD (5904983).
 
What payment methods do you accept and do you give discounts?
We accept debit/credit cards, BACS, cheque and cash payments. We will take deposit payments before any booking can be confirmed. We will issue invoices after the event for the remainder of your bill. Our pricing is set at a daily rate, however, for long term hire we may be able to offer discount.
 
What PA do I need for my event?
Please view our available packages through the home page. For live events or for a requirement that is not covered by our packages, or if you are unsure of which package you will require, please contact us and we will be more than happy to help.
 
Do you deliver?
All prices shown take into account a delivery cost, unless otherwise stated. Please note that outside of our standard operational area delivery pricing varies.
 
Do you hire band equipment or vinyl decks?
Unfortunately we are unable to provide you with hire of band equipment or vinyl decks at this time. We rarely get call for this, so do not hold items in stock as standard. In most cases we can hire these on your behalf from a third party. We do not provide headphones with our DJ/party packages, please ensure that you/your DJ provides their own.
 
What if I have problems with my equipment?
All our dry hire equipment (ie: equipment hired without an engineer on location) will have a detailed instruction manual with it, explaining how to set the equipment up. All equipment is tested before and after hire, so there should be no faults when you receive it. Our instruction booklets includes some basic troubleshooting steps to try if your system fails to work. If these steps do not solve your problem, there is always an engineer on-call for assistance.
 
Is the equipment insured?
Once the equipment leaves our care, the safety of the equipment is up to the customer. Please ensure you handle it with care, and take reasonable insurance precautions.
 
Can I buy any of your equipment?
The vast majority of our equipment cannot be purchased through ourselves, however, please enquire and we may either be able to acquire the item for you, or recommend a reputable source for the item.
 
Can you fit to my budget?
We can adapt our bespoke solutions to any budget within reason. At all times we'll suggest the best solution for your situation, and attempt to adapt this to ensure that we give you the best sound we can, keeping within your budget requirements.
